Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an image processing device to perform distributed processing capable of starting operation of reading out a manuscript immediately after completing operation of reading out a prior manuscript.SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 which can communicate with an information processing terminal and performs image processing on a scan image read out by scanning a manuscript, so that the image processing is distributed to the image processing device and information processing terminal, has a configuration comprising: an automatic manuscript carrying unit 3 for automatically carrying manuscripts continuously one by one; an image reading-out unit 4 for reading out the manuscript carried by the automatic manuscript carrying unit 3 to create a scan image in a page unit; an image processing unit 12 for performing image processing on the scan image created by the image reading-out unit 4 to create a processed image; a stop processing unit 24 for stopping the execution of the image processing in the image processing unit 12 in a period from the starting operation of reading out a manuscript in the image reading-out unit 4 to ending the operation; and a transmission processing unit 25 for transmitting the scan image or processed image to the information processing terminal.
