Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and method which faithfully reproduce a scene in which objects including fluorescent substances exist.SOLUTION: When a scene is drawn, a light beam is traced for its each wavelength from a view point 16. When the light beam hits against an object 14 including a fluorescent substance, it is determined whether or not fluorescence is emitted from the object 14. If being emitted from the object 14, the fluorescence is traced between the view point 16 and the object 14.
