Abstract:
To provide a sheet material image processing device capable of determining a pattern not only in the case of a new article but also in the case of laundry or the like.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a conveyor unit that conveys a sheet material with patterns, an imaging unit that captures an image of the sheet material conveyed by the conveyor unit and obtains a color image of the sheet material; a color feature amount calculation unit that calculates a maximum value, a minimum value, and an average value for each color value of multiple pixels in a predetermined area on the color image of the sheet material, and computes a color feature amount by dividing the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value by the average value for each color value; and a pattern determination unit that compares the computed color feature amount with the color feature amounts of a plurality of patterns that have been recorded in advance and determines that the pattern with the color feature amount closest to the color feature amount recorded in advance is included in the sheet material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
