Abstract:
To provide an image processing device that includes means for reducing noise generated in carrying out recovery processing from a power-saving mode.
An image processing device includes a document reading part that reads image data from a document, and an image forming part that carries out printing on a print sheet based on the image data. The image processing device further includes storage means for storing information on recovery processing; if the information on recovery processing stored in the storage means indicates recovery processing in a silent mode, the image processing device carries out respective operations at low speed in carrying out recovery processing from a power-saving mode.
