Abstract:
An apparatus having an image pick-up function includes color balance adjustment means and control means. The color balance adjustment means adjusts the color balance of image signals obtained by picking up an image of an object through image pickup means. The control means controls the color balance adjustment means based on feature data that characterizes the color of the object. Since the color balance is adjusted based on the feature data characterizing the color of the object, the color of an image of the object can be properly adjusted according to the object.
