Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection of a pattern of a platform in an image processing apparatus which detects a person who might fall into a railway line from the platform.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 101 includes: a parallax specification unit 107 which specifies the parallax between a plurality of imaging units in a plurality of photographed images for each pixel of the plurality of photographed images on the basis of the plurality of photographed images simultaneously imaged by the plurality of imaging units for imaging a prescribed region; a height specification unit 108 which specifies height information indicating the height of a subject from a reference surface in the prescribed region for the plurality of pixels on the basis of the parallax specified by the parallax specification unit 107; a detection unit 109 which detects a foreign material region including the plurality of pixels indicating a foreign material on the basis of the height indicated by the height information; and an output unit 111 which outputs a signal when a second region corresponding to the second height lower than the first height is included in both sides of the first region corresponding to the first height in the foreign material region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
