Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program to allow for generation of a synthetic image more suitable for user's preference when synthesizing a plurality of images.SOLUTION: In an image processing device, a CPU 11 comprises an imaging control unit 51, a face recognizing unit 52, a synthetic position analyzing unit 54, and an image synthesizing unit 55. The imaging control unit 51 acquires a first image and a second image. The face recognizing unit 52 determines correlation between a subject in the first image and a subject in the second image. The synthetic position analyzing unit 54 determines a synthetic position of the second image in the first image on the basis of the correlation between the subjects determined by the face recognizing unit 52. The image synthesizing unit 55 synthesizes the first image and the second image at the synthetic position determined by the synthetic position analyzing unit 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
