Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means capable of estimating whether mist/haze is generated from a histogram in a pick-up image without illuminating with auxiliary light or carrying out plural times of shooting.SOLUTION: The image processor detects a histogram from acquired image and calculates the ratio that the brightness distribution in a range of a preset low brightness side determination point and a preset high brightness side determination point with respect to the entire of the histogram using the detected histogram. When the preset threshold level is exceeded, the image processor estimates that mist/haze is generated in a state that a subject is hazy state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
