Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an image processing unit to easily conduct color blend processing by providing pluralities of blend calculation means that have a coefficient input means giving a prescribed number of equation coefficient to an equation calculation unit and calculate an intensity of a color component. SOLUTION: A general equation for an intensity component denoting part of a plane 1 that is defined as a coordinate system having X, Y positions and an intensity component is expressed as intensity = Ax+By+C, where A, B, C are constants used to define the property of the plane. In order to define the constants A, B, C, at first an intensity at three points (x1, y1, z1), (x2, y2, z2) and (x3, y3, z3) is defined, where z denotes the intensity. Then the three values with respect to the x, y and the intensity z are substituted to the equation intensity = Ax+By+C and three linear equations are solved to obtain the values A, B, C.
