To provide an image processor capable of obtaining an accurate processed result of high precision for an event in a real world.
A non-stationary component extracting part 201 of a data constancy detecting part 101 detects a discontinuous part of pixel element values in a plurality of pixels in an input image projected with a light signal of a real world, and having one portion wherein the constancy of the light signal in the real world is lacked. An apex detecting part 202 or a continuity detecting part 204 of the data constancy detecting part 101 detects the constancy of a data, based on a detected discontinuous part. A real world estimating part estimates the light signal by estimating the constancy of the light signal in the real world, based on the constancy of the detected data. An image generating part converts the estimated light signal into an output image. The present invention is applicable to the image processor for outputting an output image of higher resolution compared with the input image.
