Abstract:
To provide an image processing apparatus and a program that can automatically convert image data such as a drawing and a map into one with high resolution.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: a reading unit that reads a document; a distribution unit that distributes image data of the document read by the reading unit; a determination unit that determines the resolution of the image data based on a predetermined area of the document; a discrimination unit that discriminates a document type being the type of the document read by the reading unit; and a switching unit that switches the predetermined area according to the document type discriminated by the discrimination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
