Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize a processing area on an image and to improve recognition accuracy.
SOLUTION: A camera 1 picks up the image of a parking area that is divided into plural parking frames from above and inputs it to an image processor 4. An operator refers to an input image shown on a monitor 10, operates an inputting part 9 and designates one prescribed point among intersections of plural borders which form the parking area. An expansion processing part performs expansion processing of an image area within the prescribed range centered on a designated position, and a binary processing part performs binary processing of the expanded image and extracts an image of borders. The image after the processing is shown on the monitor 10, and the operator redesignates the exact position of an intersection.
