An image processing method is capable of obtaining a processed image TI which mainly subjects a person having an impaired color vision to a service. By relatively changing the ratio of a B component to pixels corresponding to an added image AI with respect to an original basic image, the added image AI is embedded into the basic image. Because the embedded added image AI can hardly be recognized by a healthy person, the added image AI becomes a hidden character (A). On the other hand, because the person having an impaired color vision can easily recognize the existence of the added image AI, the merit of the service using the added image AI can be enjoyed as a service for the person having an impaired color vision (B).
