Abstract:

To provide a method for allowing smooth execution of image processing after acquisition of a tire cross-sectional image regardless of a direction of the acquisition.SOLUTION: An image processing method of an embodiment is a method for processing a cross-sectional image of a tire including the steps of: acquiring a tire cross-sectional image that is a cross-sectional image of a tire including bead cores, and a rim cross-sectional image that is a cross-sectional image of a rim including a flange; and rotating the tire cross-sectional image and the rim cross-sectional image so that a straight line connecting the bead cores on both sides in a tire axial direction or a straight line indicating an inclination of the rim becomes parallel to a predetermined reference line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
