Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an efficient work detection by image processing.
CONSTITUTION: An edge point is detected from a primary differential peak point of lightness information to judge whether a gradient at the edge point faces rightward or not, or the primary differential point is positive or negative (S21, S23). When it faces rightward, it is judged whether an edged point of which gradient facing leftward, i.e., which is negative in positions of ear and nose is located at a point apart by a specified distance from it (S24, S25, S26). When it is present at that position, it is judged that a shaft candidate is preset at that point. Thus, a linear part of noise can be eliminated by judging the sign of the primary differential.
