An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an image processing section 126 functioning as a decoding section decoding compressed data which is compression-processed; a frame selecting section which selects two or more frame images as a selected frame image from a frame image string outputted from the image processing section 126, on the basis of an instruction from outside or automatically; and a filter processing section generating one frame image by filtering the selected frame image which the frame selecting section selects. The filter processing section performs a filter processing using a different weighting coefficient on the basis of a size of noise caused in a compression processing.
