Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve prediction accuracy of color prediction simulation even when a nonlinear masking model is to be used.SOLUTION: An image processing system, which performs color prediction of a device on the basis of intermediate signals which are signals being color material signals to be outputted from the device but not yet decomposed, comprises allocation means which allocates respective colors constituting the color material signals on respective sides of a color space cube with the intermediate signals as 3D coordinate axes and division means which equally divides a side combining mutually adjacent colors out of respective colors allocated onto the respected sides.
