Abstract:
To display an image to which depth perception is imparted based on the difference of depth between an object in the image that the user is gazing at, and other object in the image.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes image acquisition means for acquiring a two-dimensional image representative of a view from observation position, and depth information indicating the depth from the observation position to an object represented by each point of the two-dimensional image, identification means for identifying a gaze point gazed by the user in the two-dimensional image acquired by the image acquisition means, on the basis of detection results from detection means for detecting the line of vision of the user, difference acquisition means for acquiring the difference of depth between the gaze point identified by the identification means and a non-gaze point other than the gaze point in the two-dimensional image, on the basis of the depth information acquired by the image acquisition means, reduction means for reducing the image quality of the non-gaze point on the basis of the difference of the depth acquired by the difference acquisition means, and output means for outputting the two-dimensional image, in which the image quality of the non-gaze point was reduced by the reduction means, to an image display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
