Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of performing interpolation processing by which information of a high frequency component can be prevented from being lost, and an image processing method.SOLUTION: At a position of a correction target pixel, a first value of a color component different from a color component that the correction target pixel outputs is acquired. At a plurality of positions different from the position of the correction target pixel, second values of different color components are acquired. A value of the correction target pixel is interpolated by using a value of a color component outputted by a pixel corresponding to one of a plurality of different positions selected in accordance with a comparison result of the values of first and second color components.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
