Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit that can improve recording function of a moving image and a still image a low cost.
SOLUTION: When receiving an on signal form a still image recording button 15 a during recording period of moving image, a control core circuit 14 discriminates that an external device instructs still-photographing for a snap shot and the circuit 14 temporarily saves and stores image data by one frame to a storage area 7a of a frame buffer 7. The recording of the moving picture is continued as it is during this saving operation. When the recording of the moving image is finished, the control core circuit 14 discriminates whether, the still image is saves during the recording of the moving image and the circuit 14 transfers the data by one frame stored in the storage area 7a to an image data correction circuit 4 via a data bus 12, when the saving is conducted to allow the correction circuit 4 to conduct an operation similar to the case of recording of the still image.
