Abstract:
To attain an image output with high quality without deteriorated image quality due to an expansion error without outputting the image attended with the expansion error in the case that image data are compressed and stored and the compressed image data are expanded and outputted.
Under the control of a control means 7, an image expansion means 5 expands compressed image data. In this expansion, when an expansion error recognition means 6 recognizes an expansion error, the control means 7 allows the image expansion means 5 to expand again the image data and allows an image output means 10 to provide an output of the image data whose expansion error is not recognized in the 2nd expansion.
