Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of improving the convenience of a user by reducing a time required for data invalidation while maintaining security against data leakage even in an environment in which encrypted data and non-encrypted data are mixed.SOLUTION: In an image processor 10, data stored in an HDD 16 is discriminated between encrypted data and non-encrypted data on the basis of encryption setting management information 32, and overwrite and erasure are performed to the encrypted data so that an encryption key used in encryption cannot be read out. At the same time, overwrite and erasure are performed to the non-encrypted data so that the non-encrypted data cannot be read out of a storage device.
