Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously supply both a slow motion image and a normal speed image of the same scene by converting the color data into the luminance and chrominance data. SOLUTION: The color data items (R, G and B) undergo a series of same processing steps which are shown by the A/D converters 12 to 14, the buffers MT1 to MT3, a circuit PT which processes the information items outputted from the MT1 to MT3, the serializers SE1 to SE3 which serialize the data outputted from the processing circuits of every color. Then the processing operator PT can convert the color data R, G and B into the luminance and chrominance data Y, CB and CR. Furthermore, the data streams D1 to D3 outputted from the SE1 to SE3 are sent to a device 12 which generates a slow motion R. Thus both a slow motion image and a normal speed image of the same scene are simultaneously supplied.
