The image processing apparatus, where a printer driver 123 converts color space data of input image information into color space data of output image information which is interpretable by a printer 200 and provides an output to the printer 200, is provided with a profile referenced by the printer driver 123 at conversion of a color space, first and second past history storage sections 113, 114 that store histories of received and outputted color image information, and an arithmetic section 112 that makes references to the history of the image information stored in the first and second past history storage sections 113, 114, to revise the profile.
