Abstract:
To provide an image processor and its control method that can standardize software environments of respective users while improving operation efficiency, and a program for realizing the control method.
A printer periodically monitors whether software for making good use of the printer is updated on a server side by using respective Web services of the printer and server. Once target software is updated, a list of the updated software is reported to an administrator and the users. The administrator gives a check to desired software to be downloaded in the list reported to the administrator and presses a download button, so that the software given the check is downloaded from the server to the printer.
