Abstract:

To provide an image processor and its method in which an image with superior color accuracy is outputted, independently of the member of revisions of outputted gradations.

A color conversion section 203 applies color conversion processing to received RGB image data with a color conversion parameter depending on preset gradation, generates CMYK data, and stores its object to an object buffer 206. When a degrade section 207 judges that a degrading is required based on the object, the section 207 sets a color conversion parameter, depending on new gradation to the color conversion section 203, an inverse color conversion section 208 applies inverse color conversion to the object into RGB data and the color conversion section 203 applies color conversion to CMYK data again.
