The image processor includes: a means for expanding compressed image data to obtain image data in units of frames; a means for selecting a frame of a display object on the basis of a degree of image changes between frames; and a means for displaying the image data of the selected display object frame. The means for selecting the frame of the display object is provided with: a means for measuring image changes in the image data of two frames located at a prescribed interval; and a means for storing the image changes and selecting a frame when the stored amount reaches a threshold value or over.
