Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire an image of desired image quality during performing dynamic range compression processing of an image such as a radiation image.SOLUTION: A first density area being a density area of a target area in an input image and an output density area are determined, and a compression table for compressing a dynamic range of the input image is generated on the basis of the first density area and the output density area. The first density area is changed at a prescribed ratio to a changed output density area to determine a second density area. A new compression table is generated on the basis of the changed output density area and the second density area, and the dynamic range of the input image is compressed by the new compression table.
