This image processor comprises a detection means for detecting a variation in state of image parameters, a calibration running means for correcting an image quality based the variation in state of the parameters, a means for processing, as a print job, both intermediate data before a calibration and the page data after the calibration, and a means for performing the print processing with an appropriate image quality without dependent upon a difference in image quality correction parameters between the case when the page data is prepared and the case when the printing is performed.
