Abstract:
To enhance processing accuracy while accelerating the speed of image processing.
Based on mutually corresponding block images 61a (m, n) and 62a (m, n), mutually corresponding matching images SMA1 and SMA2 are set, respectively. When corresponding points of feature points included in one of the matching images cannot be extracted from the other matching image, the block images adjacent in the parallax generation direction are combined to specify new block images 61a (m, (n-1)-(n+1)), 62a (m, (n-1)-(n+1)), respectively. Subsequently, based on a newly specified block image, the matching images are set again.
