To solve such a problem that it takes a long time from the issue of a printing instruction to the start of first printing-out or the throughput becomes worse when all print data are completely expanded and printed out later.
In the image processor 3 provided with a printer controller 4 and a printer 5, as for a printing job inputted from the outside, it is determined under the control of the printer controller 4 which page the job is to be divided on so that the printer 5 cannot become an idle state as much as possible and job division control is performed for efficiently dividing one printing job into plural time-division jobs and transferring them to the printer 5 so that a separated storage unit (divided job) can be provided on that determined page.
