In the image processor mounted with various constituent devices performing image formation processing for outputting an image, a controller controlling those various constituent devices, and a monitor for visually displaying various information, the controller includes an operation state recording section for recording operation states of the respective constituent devices from the start to the end of operations in the image formation processing and an operation state display control section for totally displaying the operation states of the respective constituent devices recorded in the operation state recording part on the screen of the monitor, thereby enabling an operator to visually grasp the total operation state of the image processor.
