Abstract:
To provide an image processor in which a memory access time does not affect an entire processing time even if performing processing requiring a large number of access to a memory.
In the image processor including the memory, an external memory access device for performing read/write access from/to the memory, and an SIMD type microprocessor having a port for transmitting data to the external memory access device, the control of reducing the access to the memory by the external memory access device is executed by a control code generated on the basis of a connection relation between adjacent processor elements in the data stored in registers included in each of a plurality of processor elements constituting the SIMD type microprocessor.
