Title:
IMAGE PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6359087
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To pick up an image at a high speed by means of a video camera while moving an object and to markedly simplify the positional correction processing of an image by constituting the titled processor so that an external censor part provided at a specific position in the vicinity of the moving path of the object generates a trigger signal when the object reaches its own place in order to let a still-picture image pickup part execute image pickup action. CONSTITUTION:The external sensor consists of an photoelectric-switch light emitter 5 and a photoelectric-switch light receiver 6. A photoelectric-switch controller 4 oscillates at a prescribed frequency and controls the light emitting part 5 to emit a modulated light. The controller 4 also outputs a trigger signal B when an object to be processed 3 reaches the optical path 22 connecting between the light emitting part 5 and the receiver 6 and the receiver 6 no longer receives the modulated light, and supplies the trigger signal B to a CCD still picture camera 7. In the camera 7, at the time when the trigger signal B is outputted from the controller 4, a timing generating circuit 11 causes a CCD solid-state image pickup element 9 executes a momentary image pickup action, then lets the element 9 output the result of the said image pickup(electrical image of the object to be processed 3) as a video signal D in synchronism with a camera vertical synchronizing signal A, and further outputs a validity signal E that indicates the video signal is valid, and thus control to supply this signal to an image processor main body 8.
