Abstract:
To provide an image projection device and an image projection method capable of reducing trouble and time for replacement of a device and a survey so as to estimate a position and posture of a device to be executed for each replacement.SOLUTION: An image projection device 1 for displaying an image for a construction worker by projecting light corresponding to the image from a predetermined position in a construction site to a construction object area includes: image generation means 8 for generating an image allowing an area requiring construction to be visually recognizable in projection to the construction object area; image emitting means 7 for emitting light corresponding to an image; a mirror 4 for reflecting light corresponding to an image emitted from the image emitting means 7 toward a construction object area; mirror drive means 5 for changing posture of the mirror 4; and detection means 6 for detecting posture of the mirror 4.
