Abstract:
To assist a vision function with respect to users with retina diseases.SOLUTION: An image projection device has: a storage unit that stores input image data; a control unit that, with respect to the image data, divides an image the image data shows into an area with a width at equal intervals from a reference position in a state where an angle of view of the image is maintained, and makes corrections of the image so that the width of the area monotonically reduces or increases as getting apart from the reference position; and a laser irradiation unit that has a light source unit emitting a laser light beam, scans the laser light beam two-dimensionally on the basis of post-corrected image data by the control unit, and projects an image the post-corrected image data shows onto a retina of a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
