Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device that detects, with high accuracy, an irradiated image in an area where a plurality of photographed images overlap.SOLUTION: The image projection device comprises: projection means for dividing an input image in time for each of a plurality of color components and projecting the resulting image to a prescribed projection plane; image-capturing means for capturing at least the input image projected to the projection plane by the projection means and an other image projected to the projection plane by an other device; sync signal output means for outputting, to the other device, a local device-side sync signal generated on the basis of the timing of time division for each color component by the projection means; sync signal input means for inputting an other device-side sync signal generated on the basis of the timing of time division for each color component when the other image is projected by the other device; and control means which, when the local device-side sync signal differs from the other device-side sync signal inputted by the sync signal input means, controls the timing of time division for each color component by the projection means so that it is synchronized with the other device-side sync signal.
