Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device that enables a hologram image to be clearly displayed on a screen.SOLUTION: Laser light emitted from laser units 27A and 27B is subjected to a phase modulation by a phase modulation array 31, and is subjected to a Fourier transformation by a converging lens (a FT lens) 33. A focus position Fp of zero-order diffraction light is set on a projection plane 51 of a screen 51. A hologram image generated by first-order diffraction light is projected on a region where the focus position Fp is not included. A shield member 45 is provided in front of the screen 51, and the zero-order diffraction light is shielded by the shield member 45. The shield member 45 is located ahead of the focus position Fp, and thus, an optical energy irradiated onto the shield member 45 is mitigated, and degradation of the shield member 45 can be prevented.
