Abstract:
To provide an image reader that prevents dust such as paper powder and rubber powder of the carrier rollers from staying in an image read section.
In the image reader provided with an original supply device 201 that automatically supplies an original 202 to a glass plate 102 of a reader main body 101, an original side cleaning means 210 for eliminating dust such as paper powder deposited on the original 202 from the original side is placed in an original carrying path in the original supply device 201.
