A line sensor 43 is provided on a sensor-holding plate 40. The photodetection plane of the line sensor 43 is positioned on an image forming plane. The sensor holding plate 40 and the line sensor 43 can be turned freely with an optical axis LP as a center. The side faces of the sensor holding plate 40 are arc surfaces 41a and 41b with the optical axis LP as a center. A rack 42 is formed on one arc surface 41a. A stepping motor 50 is provided near the sensor-holding plate 40. A pinion 51 of the output shaft of the stepping motor 50 is engaged to the rack 42. A left-turn mark and a right-turn mark are displayed on the screen of a monitor. When the left-turn mark or the right turn-mark is clicked, the stepping motor 50 is driven, and the line sensor 43 is turned.
