Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reader in which occurrence of distortion in a printed board by a pressing force for a switch member mounted on the printed board is prevented.SOLUTION: An illumination light switch engages a push button member 9, inserted into a mounting hole 8 from the outside while clamping the enclosure of a head 4, with a printed board reinforcement member 12, from the inside of the enclosure, and fixes it to the enclosure. At this time, the board support part 12d of the printed board reinforcement member 12 receives the pressing force applied to a switch member 11 by supporting the mounting position thereof from the back of a printed board 10, thus suppressing generation of distortion of the printed board 10. Since the push button member 9 is composed of an elastic material, return operation is possible without using a spring member in the operation part for pressing the switch member 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
