Abstract:
To provide an image reading device, an image reading system, an image reading control method, and a program which enhance reliability of providing a user with acquired image data.SOLUTION: When the data size of image data acquired by reading an image from a document exceeds an upper limit data size, a control unit in the image reading device causes a server device to store at least a part of the image data acquired by reading the image by a reading unit and transmits to a designated transmission destination an e-mail indicating a storage destination where the image data is stored by the server device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
