In the cassette, an object is photographed and recorded on a tape-like recording medium F. The cassette 30 constitutes a mark imparting means for imparting a retrieval mark to the recording medium housed in a casing in collaboration with a light source 100 provided in a device main body. The mark imparting means includes a light guide means which guides light from the light source 100 on the recording medium F, and an optical path dividing means which optically divides the projecting optical path of an object image and an optical path for imparting the retrieval mark. A light guide means is a reflecting mirror 101 arranged between the light source 100 and the recording medium.
