Abstract:
To provide a method of providing a recorded material with a high quality image by adequately selecting a kind of an ink even when image data is of a color character or mixture of a character and a picture.
This printer is equipped with a plurality of recording heads. The printer has a dye ink system and a pigment ink system by each color and a means for determining that at least a part of a region of an image to be recorded is recorded by the dye ink system or the pigment ink system.
