Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute each of various types of image recorder by low cost and a reduced space by sharing a component and to provide the image recorder capable of readily realizing function expansion.
SOLUTION: This image recorder comprises a base body unit 1 to which a paper supply unit 2 for supplying a recording paper is detachably provided, an image forming unit 3 which is detachably connected to the base body unit 1 to be adjacent thereto and has at least one component for forming an image in accordance with an image signal housed in a case and a reading unit 10 for reading a manuscript. The reading unit 10 is supported by a supporting frame. The base body unit 1 and image forming unit 3 are connected to the reading unit 10.
