Abstract:
To enable even a person who is skilled or unskilled in operating a personal computer, to easily reproduce a slide show when recording an image on a recording medium such as DVD-R.
Image data to which information on the date of photographing is imparted, are classified into groups of a predetermined number, and a DVD-Video file for slide show reproduction is created from the image data. Furthermore, a selection image list describing the image data contained in the DVD-Video file and the order of reproduction, is created. The image data, the DVD-Video file and the selection image list are recorded on a DVD-R.
