Abstract:
To obtain an image recording apparatus which can prevent development uneveness due to uneven cooling.
A latent image is formed on a sheet-type recording material 12 by an exposure unit 11, and the sheet type recording material 12 is thermally developed by a thermal developing unit 14. The sheet-type recording material 12 released from the thermal development unit 14 is held and cooled by a cooling roller 30. The cooling roller 30 has piles 32 electrostatically grafted without seams on a pipe 31. This prevents uneven cooling of the cooling roller 30, and as a result, development uneveness can be prevented.
