To provide an image recording device that can not only secure a small curvature of a carrying path and an evacuation area of a paper feeding arm but also prevent the device from becoming large.

An image recording device includes: a tray 20 loadable of a sheet on and insertable to and drawable from the device; a paper-feeding arm 26 on the end of which a paper feeding roller 25, which carries the sheet loaded on the tray 20, is provided to enable rotation in the direction to contact with or separate from the tray 20; and a rotation guide member 70 provided above the paper-feeding arm 26 to rotate between the carrying attitude which forms a part of a reversal carrying passage 67 for guiding the sheet, on the surface of which an image is recorded in a recording part 24 which records the image on the sheet, to the recording part 24 again and the evacuation attitude which evacuates the sheet more above the carrying attitude. The paper-feeding arm 26 is rotated in the direction separating from the tray 20 by being pushed up to the top of the tray 20 where the sheet is inserted or drawn. The rotation guide member 70 is rotated from the carrying attitude to the evacuation attitude in conjunction with the rotation of the paper-feeding arm 26.
