Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the calculation of a margin amount in a printing job having a designated number of prints does not cover a paper feed so that an overlapped paper feed cannot be realized to fail to improve an expected throughput improving effect.SOLUTION: An image recorder stores, at a first printing time, the leading end margin part, which continues the leading end of each recording medium, is obtained by calculating the leading end margin part from page data, and executes the overlapped sheet transfer on the basis of the margin part stored, at the print of second and later sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
