Abstract:
To provide an image recording and reproducing method by which a user can view desired contents from a desired reproduction position.
A CPU decides whether or not a user depressed a bookmark addition button in a step S1. The CPU extracts information such as a reproduction position of contents designated through depression of the bookmark addition button in the step S1, generates bookmark information data and adds the information data to a bookmark list in steps S2, S3. When reproduction of the contents registered in the bookmark list is commanded, the contents are reproduced from the prescribed reproduction position.
